Connexionz has designed a system to provide real time information for bus passengers, operators and regulators.

The system tracks vehicles moving across the city network and gives passengers real time arrival information at their bus stop, and via the telephone and Internet.

For passengers, the Connexionz Real Time Tracking system overcomes schedule-timing uncertainties and conveys a sense of reliability.

Information is also provided to operators and regulators allowing them to finetune schedules and routes and improve service capabilities.

The Christchurch City Bus System and Bus Xchange is one example of a successful Connexionz RTT system deployment. The Xchange is a terminal-like facility that functions as a large bus stop, servicing a weekly total of 13,200 vehicle movements with an average of more than 150 vehicles per hour at peak times.
