| Connexionz appoints new Chief Executive 17 November 2008 Connexionz Limited (NZAX:CNX) announced today the appointment of Roger Carruthers to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Roger holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Otago University and obtained ACA qualification in 1986. He has had 23 years experience in international business with Merck Sharp & Dohme in a variety of senior management positions including Financial and Executive Directorships. Roger is a graduate of the Harvard Executive Business and Merck-Princeton Executive Leadership Programs. During his time with Merck, he has been based in Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and the US. Most recently, Roger was responsible for sales and marketing operations in South East Asia where he led an organisation with turnover of US$100M. Among his achievements in this role, were leading the restructure of the Thailand operation resulting in a doubling of sales and the re-establishment of Merck’s nascent sales and marketing operations in Vietnam and Indonesia. Roger replaces Richard Riley following the completion of an initial 12-month part time contract that had previously been extended by several months; Richard retains his position as a Director. The Chairman, Craig Boyce said, “Under Richard the company’s financial position has significantly improved.
