| Connexionz Makes Second Major Sales Breakthrough in California 29 May, 2009 Connexionz Limited (NZAX:CNX) announced today that it has been selected for a NZD 2.3M (USD 1.5M) contract, for the supply of a Real Time Passenger Information (RTPI) system for the Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority (ECCTA) in the Bay Area of San Francisco, California. Following completion of this contract Connexionz will have six RTPI systems operating in the USA. Connexionz success in ECCTA follows closely on the approval for the Santa Clarita RTPI contract which was won in 2008 and is due to be completed later this year. Other Connexionz systems in the US are located in the City of Charlottesville, the University of Virginia, Arlington County, and the University of Maryland. Under the programme, Connexionz performance bond is guaranteed by NZECO, a branch of NZ Treasury. Connexionz continued participation in this programme is a further attestation of the Company's strong track record in delivering systems to time and budget. Eastern Contra Costa Transit Authority was formed in 1977 consisting of the cities of Antioch, Brentwood, Pittsburg, Oakley and the county of Contra Costa. ECCTA operates bus services under the name "Tri Delta Transit". Tri Delta Transit provides over 2,500,000 bus trips each year to a population of nearly 250,000 residents in the 225 square miles of Eastern Contra Costa County. Connexionz produces real time passenger information systems for public transport. These systems allow passengers to receive up to the minute arrival times through a variety of convenient options including interactive web sites, SMS, WAP, dial up voice response systems and a variety of interactive bus stop signs. The RTPI systems also allow bus operators to manage their fleets and local government officials to administer their public transport systems.
