Connexionz announces release of latest applications to compliment its Transit Manager solution.

 Following a concerted effort by Connexionz account managers and engineering staff  in undertaking a requirements capture of our customer's needs today and looking forward, Connexionz is now pleased to announce the release of new applications to be included, free of charge, with all sales of their TransitManager suite of products.

 One of the main complaints Connexionz staff heard from existing and prospective customers is the time which is often wasted at the beginning of driver's shifts trying to locate their allocated vehicle. Connexionz listened to this complaint, and then developed a simple tool called YardMap, which will provide pinpoint accuracy of the precise location of any given vehicle in a customer's fleet.

 Using advanced AVL technology, the YardMap tool provides staff with a graphical interface that highlights the position of any specific vehicle at any time in a customer's yard. So no more time-wasting walking up and down rows and rows of vehicles trying to find a specific vehicle, when, with a click of a mouse, the exact position of a vehicle in a customer's yard is now available.

 In addition to YardMap, dispatch staff are also now able to add tags to vehicles who have deviated from route, running behind or ahead of schedule, or any other deviation from the planned schedule or route by selecting from a pre-defined list of options. These options are then recorded by the Transit Manager system for future reporting purposes, in order to assist with accurately determining any common themes which may result in a vehicle deviating from a specific schedule or route. This is also configurable to include user-defined parameters.
