Connexionz won the prestigious 2004 Champion Canterbury award for innovation last night at a dinner attended by 850 guests, which included many regional business figures, local government and central politicians and the Prime Minister.
The Champion Canterbury Awards celebrate the excellence and enterprise of business in the Canterbury Region.
The award recognises Connexionz' achievements in leading business innovation in the Canterbury region and was won against other high-calibre finalist companies Linden Leaves, Holmes Consulting and Melrose Kiwi Concept Wheelchairs.
In winning the award, the company extends its thanks to Environment Canterbury, the Christchurch City Council, the New South Wales Road Transport Authority, Alstom, its investors, its many suppliers and its dedicated staff whose support has made the company so successful.
