Shareholders approve Santa Clarita contract

At a Special Meeting held on 7 August 2008, Connexionz’s (NZAX:CNX) shareholders unanimously authorised the Company to enter into contracts to supply a real-time passenger information (RTPI) system for the City of Santa Clarita, California, USA.
The contracts are worth approximately USD 2.44m in capital and maintenance sales. When complete, the new system will track 87 vehicles and provide up to the minute arrival times to 23 bus stops and terminals across the city.Shareholders also ratified share issues made earlier in the year as part of acquiring the remaining 50% not already held in its joint venture company Connexionz investments.
